Flood warnings have been issued in at least two locations in Australia. The floods claimed the lives of eight people.
Officials say at least eight people have died in flash floods in eastern Australia.
Queensland is home to all of those murdered in the floods. A person who went missing during the floods is being sought by police.
After the rain, a river in Lismore, New South Wales, has surged 47 feet above its banks. The city was evacuated by 15,000 people.
According to officials, the Brisbane River floods wreaked havoc as well.
On Monday, Brisbane, Australia’s third-largest city, was flooded. The worst floods in the city and nearby areas have occurred since 2011.
