The price of gold per tola is Rs. 99,000

Kathmandu, February 24

The price of gold has risen Rs 2,500 per tola to Rs 99,000 per tola in today’s gold and silver market. The previous day, the yellow metal was trading at Rs 96,500 per ounce. The price of acid gold has been set at Rs 98,500 per tola today, according to information released by the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal. On Wednesday, the price was Rs 96,000 per tola.

According to the federation, the price of silver climbed by Rs 35 per tola today compared to the previous trade price, reaching Rs 1,315 per tola.

The federation has set daily trading prices here based on changes in global gold and silver
prices. The increase in the price of gold and silver in the global market has affected the market price of Nepal today, according to FNCCI President Manika Ratna Shakya, as international trade would affect the gold and silver market of Nepal.

On the worldwide market, gold is currently trading at roughly $1,939 per ounce.
