Kathmandu : The Confederation of Nepalese Professionals (CONEP) has strongly condemned the alleged U.S. military air strike on Venezuela, calling it a grave violation of international law and the UN Charter. CONEP expressed shock over reports that the Venezuelan president and his wife were abducted during the attack, alongside claims of an oil ban and seizure of natural resources. Terming the action imperialistic interference in a sovereign UN member state, CONEP voiced solidarity with the Venezuelan people in defending their sovereignty. The organization urged the U.S. to immediately end military intervention, ensure the safe release of the abducted leaders, respect Venezuela’s right to self-determination, and called on the United Nations to urgently intervene to resolve the crisis peacefully.

Stop the U.S. military invasion of Venezuela!
Confederation of Nepalese Professionals (CONEP) is gravely shocked by the news of that United States of America has invaded by launching an air strike on a sovereign state Venezuela, a member state of United Nation.
During air strike, the Venezuelan president along with his wife has been abducted by the US Force. Furthermore, American imperialists have also imposed oil ban on Venezuelan nation and seized its resources in natural shores.
This is the serious violation of UN Charter, Principle of Panchsheel and International Statue against a sovereign country.
We strongly protest against the USA intervention on Venezuela and express solidarity with the justice loving people of Venezuela who are fighting to defend their sovereign country.
So, we want to call the US Government to stop the US military intervention on Venezuela and secure the safe release of the abducted president and his wife immediately and respect for the right of self-determination of the Venezuelan people.
On this backdrop, we would also like to call the United Nations to take an initiative immediately to resolve this dispute.
